The wheels REALLY set it off nicely.
You should just ditch the hubcaps entirely. They have an impeccable ability to make any car look like an 80's ****box.
and how do you manage to do that

very nice and clean.
dexter_5000
03-26-2007, 08:43 AM
i used wheel wax on the wheels inside and out cleaned them entirely then waxed them. so it reduces brake dust build up and makes all the other crap come off just rinising. like when they did the job there the water was still beading on the wheels.

who has one which one i need some info on clearance i'm still deciding and have to clear the blitz sus filter. would be best if i knew it would clear before i buy one. whenever that may be.

I've got the TRD bar. You can just barely see it in my supertones writeup. If you can wait a few days I'll take pix, and a measurement from the stock airbox bracket to the bottom of the bar. That should give you some idea of the clearance.

little update guys finally got a strut bar took a gamble on it clearing the blitz sus filter well the ds sports bar did so here it is with minimal clearance and not hit issues. before the fedex guy could leave i was already opening the box and getting the hood open to install it. took me i'm guessing about 15 mins at most to get it in.

the angle is fine as is. it drives fine i've already had it on the higway.
for the purposes of auto-x it really doesn't give any advantage since high enough speeds are not generated.

did you add any downforce to the front besides the canards?

yeah i've got the beatrush underpanel which has taken the place of the front splitter right now. i plan on making another to help protect the bumper still though.

lips are a little harder to come by for the 06 model. although i'm thinking of putting a front splitter back on just need to make a new one.

unfortunately you are right about the lips. I wish they made some. I looked into it but i dont think i want to spend over $1000 for just a front lip. Not worth it to me. but still... nice hood :). I like it a lot. The splitter would look really good i think. I remember seeing it on your car a while ago. Looked sick dude

Hey Eric, how well does the Sparco seat you have fit, in terms of clearance with the B-Pillar?
I ask, because I have a set of Sparco Torino 2's on the way and I know the tolerances will be very small for fitment on them. The overall width of the Torino seat is 22" and the stock seats are about 19.25".
Your car is looking real good man. I have nothing but jealousy for that hood as it would be perfect for my turbo set-up and it looks good to boot. :D

slacking on updates as a few of you know i did finally pick up a sparco corsa seat. fia approved full competition. its a fixed back side mount seat only which i found feels even better when driving.
