And the Results:
Brian was the first to run, and the clock was screwed up. So he had to do a redo after us. Carlos was next, and he posted his best time of the day, 78.something. I then went up. Being automatic and fully loaded in my show setup, I figured since we only have one shot, I need to push it. Near the final turn I was doing really good, and I just lost control. I spun out, ended up next to a spotter, the spotter looked at me to tell me I'm still alive, and I got back on track. I ended up with 87.something, I was just glad not to get a DNF cause of going off track. The SE xA was getting DNF's all during the day for a small thing he was missing, I don't really know what was up, just that there was a couple different drivers. This driver had it going on, and posted the best xA time of the day, at 75.something. So now it was up to Brian, he was the previous best xA time holder, and he fell short by just a second. :ra:

All in all it was fun, I won Best xA for the show, and got 500 bucks + an autographed TShirt by John Elway that says "Best xA". Not a bad trophy I'd say.

I do have videos of us racing before the Championship run, I'll be posting them soon.

yeah, that was a ton of fun. My best time was 76.865 (or .864), better than 3/4 of the people driving the sert. No more Auto-x for me till I get better tires. I think if I had better tires, and took the right line, I could have done much better. Next time I will NOT take out my pass. seat. That way I can take a pro with me a few times. I bet that with good tires, and the right line, I could have gotten low 75's-high 74's, maybe better.

yeah that was tons of fun.. I think the best part was when my GF went with me and she said and I qoute "it looked slow on the side but in the car wow.. but never I again will I get on.." ha ha..

it was good I got 7 runs I started with a 1st run I got off the track..(I got there late and didn't get a walk thru not until the mid day.) ha ha 2nd 99. something (not the worst time of the day) 3-4 runs 88 and 5- runs were 85 7th run 83 and the "finals" at 78 so I think I did really well..

worst time of the day was....155 (ave was about 78 from what I saw). the 155 was so bad that the car behind that driver got a rerun, because he had to slow down.

yes...both were. But the fastest was a tC also.
