cu ft under seats

I was wondering what is the cu ft available under the driver and passenger seats.

I think i want to add 2 more 10"s to my xA but i am not to sure yet

I thought about it before I did any audio to my xA, but after looking at it and running some quick numbers I could have only gotten 8's in the correct size box or 10" free-air subs under there. And if you've ever heard free-airs before you know why they aren't popular at all.

the boxes i had were .7 cu.ft. now the major probably you r going to have is the height of the box. its going to be REALLY hard to find subs that will work. i ended up going with 6.5" kicker cvt subs. just enough airpsace and not a bad sound. but if your looking for heavy bass then you dont got much of a choice. hate to say it but maybe look into bass shakers?!

Well I may try to find the 10" soundstream stealths, they r not out yet but they only want .5 cu ft or something like that. I am putting 2x 10" T5's in the hatch in a custom ported box. But I think those 10s under the seats will give some mid-bass to my xA.

If I could port them that would be amazing

no way in hell your going to port that. port means bigger box!

Oh I know, I could probly use the floor boards too because I don't carry people in the back really. I will see how far I can and etc. Maybe I'll have luck and be able to do something w/ it. I'll look up the cu ft requested by company.

yeah, no way you'll have enough room to port unless you take up the floor area behind the seats too, even then...
if you just want mid bass use some 8" subs.

Well I just looked at the details on the sub since its on out yet, its a 13" wide, 2" mounting depth, and .5 cu ft sealed box is needed.

I will be doing a lot more research on this :)
